Description of problem:
I filed bug 590454, and got a patch to try. The only way I found to get at the raw patch was to open it for reading, and copy&pasting it over here.

2. Try to find out how to get it

No direct link to "download attachment" to be seen

Hi Horst,

If you click on the attachment link in the attachments box, then when the raw attachment is displayed , if you go in your web browser to File -> Save Page As

this will enable you to save your raw attachment.
