Description of problem:

Xchat offers to send a file to a irc contact. I'm getting status failed in both directions college to me and me to college.

We are connected to the same irc server and most possible in the same subnet.

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a private chat with a college over irc
2. Move by mouse a desired file to the chat window
3. A window with file transaction progress bar will appear

Both files were under 50k

I forget to mention that college is using pidgin as a IRC client

This issue has been proposed when we are only considering blocker
issues in the current Red Hat Enterprise Linux release. It has
been denied for the current Red Hat Enterprise Linux release.

release, ask your support representative to file as a blocker on
your behalf. Otherwise ask that it be considered for the next
Red Hat Enterprise Linux release. **
