Description of problem: ngircd 0.11.0-1.el5 is a little old and does not have SSL support compiled in which is a requirement for many installations. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ngircd 0.11-SYSLOG+ZLIB+TCPWRAP+ZEROCONF+IDENT+IRCPLUS-x86_64 (epel) ngircd 16-SYSLOG+ZLIB+SSL+TCPWRAP+ZEROCONF+IDENT+IRCPLUS+IPv6-x86_64(current stable) Seems to work with the following configure ./configure --prefix=/usr --with-openssl --with-zeroconf --with-tcp-wrappers --with-ident --enable-ipv6
ngircd-16-1.el5 has been submitted as an update for Fedora EPEL 5. http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/ngircd-16-1.el5
