Description Adam D. Ligas 2010-05-27 22:49:07 UTC
Problem appears to occur on both x86 and x86_64 with Intel graphics adapters.

Description of problem:
With Compiz enabled, you cannot click on the outermost edge of the screen when trying to use the Gnome panels.

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enable Compiz via Desktop Effects
2. Move cursor to the top edge of the screen, above the "Applications" menu
3. Click

Actual Results:
The menu does not open.

Expected Results:
The menu should open. The menu opening would be consistent with what happens with Compiz disabled.

Additional Information:
- This bug applies to ALL edges, not just the top one. For example going to the bottom edge and clicking will not minimize an application window.

- The edges don't work, but the corners do. Moving the cursor to the top-left corner and clicking opens the "Applications" menu. Moving the cursor to the bottom-right corner opens the "Trash".

- It appears that enabling "Workspaces on a Cube" in the Desktop Effects menu restores edge clicking for some reason.
