Description Ward Fenton 2002-02-12 21:30:57 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.7) Gecko/20011226

Description of problem:
installed linux onto drive with existing dos/windows partitions (system
commander as boot loader), boot loader configuration screen offered option to
install to the Master boot record (MBR) of "/dev/hda3" (instead of /dev/hda) and
the first sector of boot partition of /dev/hda3 (which was my intent and did work).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1.start with drive filled with install of another os and working boot loader
2.install linux to remainder of disk
3.check text of first option for MBR
