This is preventing automatic updates when upgrading from F11 to F12. Please bump the F12 version to make sure even former F11 users will be getting updates. nss-softokn-freebl-3.12.4-19.fc12.i686 nss-softokn-freebl-3.12.6-1.2.fc11.i586
(In reply to comment #0) > nss-softokn-freebl-3.12.4-19.fc12.i686 > nss-softokn-freebl-3.12.6-1.2.fc11.i586 Analysis: The reason for this very odd situation is that from F-12 onwards we split nss into three stand-alone packages nss, nss-softokn, and nss-util. We did that so we could keep softokn behind at the last FIPS-validated release while updating the rest of nss. In F-11 we still have the "monolithic" nss (with softoken and softokn-freebl, etc. mere subpackages). When updated nss to 3.12.6 on recent fedoras in F-12 nss-softokn stayed behind at 3.12.4 (as we wanted) while in F-11 it got bumped to 3.12.6 along with the rest of nss. Once F-11 reaches end-of-life and all F-n's have the split form and this will no longer be a problem for people upgrading. Its is now a problem. Solution: I'll bump nss-softokn in F-12, F-13, and devel to to 3.12.6.

(In reply to comment #3) This update could use some karma points so it goes to stable soon. A good test here is to upgrade a system from F-11 to F-12 and then execute su -c 'yum --enablerepo=updates-testing update nss-softokn'
i'm running fedora 12 x86-64. the installed nss-softokn packages are the later version. updates that depend on the earlier version are failing preventing automatic updates. how do i get around this?
(In reply to comment #4) I should have said su -c 'yum --enablerepo=updates-testing update nss-softokn nss'
