Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 603879
[abrt] crash in gnome-panel-2.30.0-1.fc13: wncklet_connect_while_alive: Process /usr/libexec/wnck-applet was killed by signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
Last modified: 2010-06-15 03:25:40 EDT
abrt 1.1.1 detected a crash.
Attached file: backtrace
cmdline: /usr/libexec/wnck-applet --oaf-activate-iid=OAFIID:GNOME_Wncklet_Factory --oaf-ior-fd=18
comment: This has been happening since fedora 11 maybe, but I didn't consider it serious... just annoying. It happens only the first time, one symptom this will occur is when you scroll over the applet the workspace won't switch. I've tried this with clean installs and all the same.
reason: Process /usr/libexec/wnck-applet was killed by signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
release: Fedora release 13 (Goddard)
How to reproduce
1. Right click on the workspace switcher applet
2. Click preferences
3. Watch it burn
