How to reproduce
-----
1. Click Places > Connect to Server... 
2. Pick service type Windows Share, and type just a local server name in all caps with no extensions. 
3. Enter username and password.

This bug appears to have been filled using a buggy version of ABRT, because
it contains a backtrace which is a duplicate of backtrace from bug #604631.
