There is a new release of verbiste available. Latest release : 0.1.30 Release in Fedora : 0.1.26
I was holding off because I'm not sure about the best way to handle the LaTeX integration introduced in 0.1.27 -- I really don't want verbiste to require latex. I'll take a look at this shortly to see if I can figure it out.
