Description of problem:
Discovered this while looking into bug #599515
After following some of the same steps as listed in that bz, when user clicks the search bar, the dropdown helper box contains some of those very same phantom resources.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a recursive compatible group with 2+ members
2. Click on a couple of child resources in the group left nav
3. Go to the group search page.  
4. Click the search bar on the group search page and observe the contents of the helper box.

Actual results:
Results from those items you clicked on in step 2 appear in helper box.

Expected results:
These shouldn't be showing up in here.
