Description of problem: while man page tells about -D TOKEN, snmptrapd only understands -D without any additional argument Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): net-snmp-5.3.2.2-9.el5_5.1 How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: -D TOKEN[,...] Turn on debugging output for the given TOKEN(s). Try ALL for extremely verbose output. Expected results: -D enable debug mode Additional info: # snmptrapd -h 2>&1 | grep '\-D' -D turn on debugging output
snmptrapd does understand additional arguments of -D, but not in format which is described in man page. Correct usage is -Dtoken, without space. I'll fix the man pages and -h output.
I've fixed the documentation upstream, SVN rev. 19230.
