If LANG=de_DE font size changes are ignored in gnome-terminal

1. change language to german
2. change font size
3. 

Actual Results:
changes ignored

Expected Results:
font size changes	

Additional Information:
Works alright in english version

95% chance they have "enable multibyte support" checked in preferences, to use
font sets, then are choosing a font with the wrong encoding for their locale.
Reopen if that's not it.
