6.1 aktion doesn't work well with the 6.1 version of xanim.
aktion (using the 6.1 xanim) doesn't play .mov and .avi
files that it would before, under 6.0  I fixed my 6.1 system
by simply installing the 6.0 xamin package.  This seemed to
fix everything.

The proprietary codecs were taken out of the 6.1 xanim. You
can download them from http://xanim.va.pubnix.com/, if you'd like.
