Tim mentioned in an email that the T500 doesn't work well with some projectors:

> conf room on a T500 without requiring a reboot w/ it connected at boot time.

We should see if it's a driver issue or if it's problem with the cable or bad fallbacks when ddc fails or something else.

Tim, can you attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log file please?
