libass 0.9.8 that's currently shipped with Fedora 13 seems to have a few crash bugs. I'm experiencing them in at least two scenarios: a) Upon initial parsing in some movies b) Text with characters not in the current font and/or multiple subtitles on screen Both bugs are gone in 0.9.9, so pretty please do an upgrade. :)
