Description of problem:
The remote and the lirc_serial module doesn't have any funktion with kernel-2.6.35-0.57.rc6.git5.fc14.x86_64 in fc14.

Yeah, I need to push an updated lirc userspace to deal with some ioctl interface changes that exist in the upstreamed lirc.h. Will try to get that done today.

The above should work with all F14 lirc drivers. Was delayed a bit due to build failures, the root cause of which has yet to be fixed (working around a parallel make issue by simply doing a single-threaded build right now).

Comment 4 Wolfgang Ulbrich 2010-08-19 16:28:37 UTC
I've tested the the new lirc rpm,..... and the lirc_serial modul works fine under fc14 :-)
Thx for your work.
