Adam, please respond to Comment 3 so I can update FES ticket 39.
Ok, I am checking.
Here is the reply:
Adam, any progress?
Sorry, I am totally behind on this. I need to push out the new version which has at least a partial fix for this.
With 7.24 in rawhide now, it's better but still not perfect.
Hi Adam, what remains to resolve this?
The remaining piece is a modified version of the GtkSheet widget. Upstream says the original is ill-behaved when embedded into another widget as nip2 does. Upstream isn't satisfied with the forked version, either, and wants to find an alternative when nip2 is ported to gtk3. So hopefully this is not a long-term problem.
nip2 has a compile-time option to disable GtkSheet and fall back to GtkTreeView, at some cost in functionality. I propose to enable the fallback beginning in F18.
nip2-7.28.5-1.fc18 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 18.
nip2-7.28.5-1.fc18 has been pushed to the Fedora 18 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
