Description Matthew Miller 2010-08-23 17:10:17 UTC
http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/devel/2010-August/141413.html

Summary: Currently, noauto causes filesystems to be skipped at boot but still automatically mounted later. Please make noauto cause filesystems to not be mounted automatically at all.

Discussion on the fedora devel mailing list seems to suggest that "nobootwait" would make a good option name for the new behavior.

Thanks

I think some distributions have already implemented "bootwait" and "nobootwait" and that makes perfect sense to adopt if we don't do this already in Fedora. Otherwise honoring "noauto" is very important.

Which N-V-R package includes this fix?

Package hasn't been pushed to rawhide yet.
