I turned on HTTP support in openjade a while back in rawhide.
thanks - but there are more problems still! nsgmls:/etc/sgml/xml-docbook-4.1.cat:3:8:E: cannot open "/usr/share/sgml/openjade-1.3/catalog" (No such file or directory) (you have to fix /etc/sgml/xml-docbook-4.1.cat to point 1.3.1) Also, the fact that such important files like xml.soc are located under version-specific directory (/usr/share/doc/openjade-1.3.1) makes me edit a makefile after each upgrade. very ugly. Also, /etc/sgml/xml-docbook-4.1.2-1.0-8.cat should be xml-docbook-4.1.2.cat
I think you'll need to upgrade several packages to those in rawhide to get openjade 1.3.1 working.
(Better yet, try the beta release of the distribution..)
