Description of problem: there are some erratas (accidentally found just only 2) for which there are no packages related. But the RHN host where the packages/erratas were satellite-sync-ed contains the information about the errata (packages) correctly. The erratas affected (found so far): --- RHSA-2010:9798 RHBA-2010:9802 --- Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Satellite-5.4.0-RHEL5-re20100820.0-x86_64.iso How reproducible: got this issue currently on 2 erratas above Steps to Reproduce: 1. satellite sync the Red Hat channel: rhel-i386-server-5 2. find errata by synopsis: "firefox" in 3. it would list "RHSA-2010:9798" there. Refer to its package list. 4. the same could be achieved by selecting rhnerratapackage table for appropriate errata id. Actual results: no packages displayed for the errata Expected results: the packages should be got displayed. Additional info:
Need to understand if this is a 1 - Regression 2 - Happens with sat-sync and channel dumps or one or the other If this is a regression compared 5.3, then we need to fix (if we can). Please let me know if not regression and fix not easy/risky to determine if this stays on -blockers or not. Cliff
