Description Gene Snider 2010-08-27 17:08:03 UTC

SELinux is preventing /bin/bash "write" access on /tmp.

Detailed Description:

[SELinux is in permissive mode. This access was not denied.]

SELinux denied access requested by 98video-quirk-d. It is not expected that this
access is required by 98video-quirk-d and this access may signal an intrusion
attempt. It is also possible that the specific version or configuration of the
application is causing it to require additional access.

Allowing Access:

You can generate a local policy module to allow this access - see FAQ
(http://docs.fedoraproject.org/selinux-faq-fc5/#id2961385) Please file a bug

audit2allow suggests:

#============= devicekit_power_t ==============
#!!!! The source type 'devicekit_power_t' can write to a 'dir' of the following types:
# var_lib_t, var_log_t, hald_var_run_t, devicekit_var_lib_t, hald_log_t

allow devicekit_power_t tmp_t:dir write;

Comment 1 Gene Snider 2010-08-27 17:10:44 UTC
This AVC denial and seven others appear after resuming from suspend. I filed the ones that seemed somewhat unrelated.
