Note: This bug is displayed in read-only format because the product is no longer active in Red Hat Bugzilla.
RHEL Engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on RHEL 6 through RHEL 9 to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. Bugs against components "kernel", "kernel-rt", and "kpatch" are only migrated if still in "NEW" or "ASSIGNED". If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

I test in Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workstation release 6.0 Beta-2 (Santiago) and Rhel6 Snapshot 11, this bug also exist. So this bug isn't a regression bug.

Comment 4 Ankit Patel 2010-09-02 10:51:24 UTC
Hi Leah,

Could you please check the translation of the word "Forward" in below three files:

Firstboot: https://translate.fedoraproject.org/projects/p/firstboot/c/rhel6-branch/view/po/zh_TW.po
Evolution: http://l10n.gnome.org/POT/evolution.gnome-2-28/evolution.gnome-2-28.zh_TW.po
Gtk2: http://l10n.gnome.org/POT/gtk+.gtk-2-18/gtk+.gtk-2-18.zh_TW.po

And let's know, what should be the appropriate translation for "Forward" in zh_TW.

Also let's know which files needs modification.

Thanks!
Ankit

Localization members would provide fix for translations. Reassigning bug back to the owner of the component to take care of the dev-ack.

Thanks!
Ankit

Conditional NAK while waiting for patch.

Comment 9 Terry CHUANG 2010-12-07 01:13:41 UTC
Translation errors has been fixed, Firstboot has been submitted through Transifex, Evolution and gtk2 has been sent to Ankit as I don't have the relevant upload permission.

Terry,

Can you please submit your fixes for evolution and gtk2 to downstream at least? I can make a patch and attach in the bug.

Thanks!
Ankit

A patch to fix Chinese (zh_TW) translation issue for evolution

Applying this patch should fix the reported evolution zh_TW translation issue. Could you please add this to your next build to help me get this bug fixed.

Thanks!
Ankit
