Description Jan Hutař 2010-09-03 12:55:29 UTC
Description of problem:
I have synced channel's repos through WebUI button "Sync now" and checked label of "Last Sync Time:" on "Basic Channel Details" WebUI page. Then added one more repo to the channel and when I used command-line utility spacewalk-repo-sync to sync repos/channel again and checked "Last Sync Time:" again, it still had old time (but underlying log was correct).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Galactica: Satellite-5.4.0-RHEL5-re20100827.0-x86_64-embedded-oracle.iso
spacewalk-java-1.2.17-1.el5sat
spacewalk-schema-1.2.8-1.el5sat

How reproducible:
1 satellite, all 2 attempts

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create channel and assign repository to it
2. Channels -> Manage Software Channels -> my-channel -> Repositories -> Sync -> Sync Now
3. Wait till sync finishes
4. Then go to Channels -> Manage Software Channels -> my-channel and
check "Last Sync Time:" - I had there "9/3/10 8:38:05 AM EDT"
5. Add one more repo to the channel
6. On Satellite's command-line: # spacewalk-repo-sync --channel=my-channel
7. Go to Channels -> Manage Software Channels -> my-channel and
check "Last Sync Time:" again - I still have there "9/3/10 8:38:05 AM EDT"
8. Check linked log - it is correct one, it contains first line saying
"Sync started: Fri Sep 3 08:52:36 2010" and last one "Sync complete"

Actual results:
After I use spacewalk-repo-sync, timestamp of last sync on "Basic Channel Details" WebUI page is not updated

Expected results:
That timestamp shoud be updated
