Note: This bug is displayed in read-only format because the product is no longer active in Red Hat Bugzilla.
RHEL Engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on RHEL 6 through RHEL 9 to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. Bugs against components "kernel", "kernel-rt", and "kpatch" are only migrated if still in "NEW" or "ASSIGNED". If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

The updated translation for kexec-tools was not reflected downstream. Have committed translations downstream for kexec-tools file: "Committed revision 2072"

Thanks!!

Hi Ani,

Could you please also submit your fix upstream? https://translate.fedoraproject.org/projects/p/kexec-tools/c/HEAD/

Thanks!
Ankit

Comment 4 Martin Gracik 2010-11-18 14:05:39 UTC
Kdump module comes from kexec-tools, there's nothing I can do in firstboot to fix this, so I'm changing the component to kexec-tools.

Comment 5 Cong Wang 2010-11-19 02:15:23 UTC
I don't understand that language, could any of you provide an updated po file?

Upstream: https://translate.fedoraproject.org/projects/p/kexec-tools/c/HEAD/ has the correct po file.

Thanks!

Comment 7 Cong Wang 2010-11-25 09:47:01 UTC
Ani, I just need to update the ml.po file, right? That is https://translate.fedoraproject.org/projects/p/kexec-tools/c/HEAD/raw/po/ml.po.

Thanks!

Comment 8 Cong Wang 2010-11-25 09:51:02 UTC
The current ml.po in RHEL6 kexec-tools is 4.7K, while the ml.po from upstream is 6.4K, seems changed a lot?

Comment 9 Ankit Patel 2010-11-29 05:59:31 UTC
Hi Amerigo,

I have put on hold for all translation related bugs until we find all bugs irrespective of a language. That will help me to provide a single patch for all bugs rather than having multiple patches for all individual languages. Hence could you please keep it on hold till the time we have a QA (or testing) event done in Pune? Which could be in early December or late January.

Thanks!
Ankit

Comment 10 Cong Wang 2010-11-29 06:16:51 UTC
(In reply to comment #9)
Sure, thanks! Providing an updated tarball is also nice.

Comment 11 Ani Peter 2010-12-20 05:24:40 UTC
Apologies for the delay in replying!

The kexec-tools translation has been updated downstream (15 strings) and upstream (14 strings).
Here is the link for upstream file:
https://translate.fedoraproject.org/projects/p/kexec-tools/c/HEAD/raw/po/ml.po

This will fix the issue. Please let me know if anny other issues.

Thanks
Ani

Comment 12 Ankit Patel 2010-12-20 07:37:23 UTC
Hi Amerigo,

If you can pull the translation updates from https://translate.fedoraproject.org/projects/p/kexec-tools/c/HEAD/raw/po/ml.po in your next build, this issue will be fixed.

Thanks!
Ankit
