Description Volodymyr Shcherbyna 2010-09-04 19:33:33 UTC
Summary:

SELinux is preventing /usr/lib/xulrunner-1.9.2/plugin-container "create" access
on #content.adriver.ru.

Detailed Description:

[plugin-containe has a permissive type (mozilla_plugin_t). This access was not
denied.]

SELinux denied access requested by plugin-containe. It is not expected that this
access is required by plugin-containe and this access may signal an intrusion
attempt. It is also possible that the specific version or configuration of the
application is causing it to require additional access.

Allowing Access:

You can generate a local policy module to allow this access - see FAQ
(http://docs.fedoraproject.org/selinux-faq-fc5/#id2961385) Please file a bug
report.

I don't think we want mozilla_plugin creating content in the users homedir? Do you know what is going on here?

Comment 3 John Watzke 2010-10-03 18:59:03 UTC
I got this error from the 64-bit "square" flash plugin.

The flash plugin can store cache data and other items in a flash storage area. I'm guessing that is actually stored in the user's home directory so it would seem appropriate for it to write to the user's home directory.
