Summary: SELinux is preventing /opt/google/talkplugin/GoogleTalkPlugin "remove_name" access on pulse-shm-1395489214. Detailed Description: [GoogleTalkPlugi has a permissive type (mozilla_plugin_t). This access was not denied.] SELinux denied access requested by GoogleTalkPlugi. It is not expected that this access is required by GoogleTalkPlugi and this access may signal an intrusion attempt. It is also possible that the specific version or configuration of the application is causing it to require additional access. Allowing Access: You can generate a local policy module to allow this access - see FAQ (http://docs.fedoraproject.org/selinux-faq-fc5/#id2961385) Please file a bug report. Do you have any idea what process created the tmpfs_t directory /dev/shm/pulse-shm-1395489214?
Nope. If there is any way of figuring it out, let me know and I will give you the info.
Are you using some kind of sound service? mpd? The pulseaudio files should be created as user_tmpfs_t if they were created by normal user apps. ls -lZ /dev/shm/pulse* -r--------. dwalsh dwalsh staff_u:object_r:user_tmpfs_t:s0 /dev/shm/pulse-shm-1160940468 -r--------. dwalsh dwalsh staff_u:object_r:user_tmpfs_t:s0 /dev/shm/pulse-shm-1361974585 -r--------. dwalsh dwalsh staff_u:object_r:user_tmpfs_t:s0 /dev/shm/pulse-shm-1431405227 -r--------. dwalsh dwalsh staff_u:object_r:user_tmpfs_t:s0 /dev/shm/pulse-shm-1567729917 -r--------. dwalsh dwalsh staff_u:object_r:user_tmpfs_t:s0 /dev/shm/pulse-shm-3176878604 -r--------. dwalsh dwalsh staff_u:object_r:user_tmpfs_t:s0 /dev/shm/pulse-shm-3581110005 -r--------. dwalsh dwalsh staff_u:object_r:user_tmpfs_t:s0 /dev/shm/pulse-shm-4136531389 -r--------. gdm gdm system_u:object_r:user_tmpfs_t:s0 /dev/shm/pulse-shm-568089334
