Description FTBFS 2010-09-07 16:13:50 UTC
freemarker-2.3.13-8.fc14.src.rpm Failed To Build From Source against the rawhide tree. See http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FTBFS for more information.
If you believe this is actually a bug in another package, do NOT change the component in this bug or close this bug. Instead, add the appropriate bug number from the other package to the "Depends on" line in this bug. If the other package does not yet have a bug created that you think matches, please create one. Doing so helps us properly track bugs and their dependencies, just as we track package dependencies. (If you close this bug, and the other package is not fixed before the next FTBFS run, a new bug will get created. Please follow the above advice to avoid such duplication.)

Comment 7 Victor G. Vasilyev 2010-09-07 17:14:59 UTC
There is nothing to fix in the package freemarker.

A cause of this bug is the failed builds of the related packages:

freemarker
|- tomcat5 [1]
   |- javamail [2]

[1] http://linux.dell.com/files/fedora/FixBuildRequires/mock-results/i386/tomcat5-5.5.27-7.4.fc12.src.rpm/result/build.log
[2] http://linux.dell.com/files/fedora/FixBuildRequires/mock-results/i386/javamail-1.4.3-2.fc13.src.rpm/result/build.log

The log [2] demonstrates the following Maven error:

[INFO] Internal error in the plugin manager executing goal 'org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-javadoc-plugin:2.7:javadoc': Unable to load the mojo 'org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-javadoc-plugin:2.7:javadoc' in the plugin 'org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-javadoc-plugin'. A required class is missing: org/apache/maven/shared/invoker/MavenInvocationException
org.apache.maven.shared.invoker.MavenInvocationException

I'll re-assign this bug to the javamail package.

There was another problem caused by tomcat6 maintainer renaming el-api.
Adapted to new name.
