Description Erik Erlandson 2010-09-09 20:59:41 UTC
Wallaby may decide to not push new configurations if it thinks nothing has changed. May be desirable to give admin a hammer to make the push happen, as a debugging or sanity-checking tool.

might look like: "--activate --force"

Comment 3 Robert Rati 2011-02-23 15:17:47 UTC
The wallaby shell has a new command "force-pull" which will force specified
nodes (or groups) to pull their configurations.

This command is not intended to be packaged and it only available in the
wallaby repo in lib/mrg/grid/config/shell

Comment 4 Martin Kudlej 2011-03-08 12:11:12 UTC
Is this fixed by command parameters of CCP or just by wallaby console command? Are these command parameters accessible in any available package?

Comment 5 Robert Rati 2011-03-08 14:24:18 UTC
This is only available through the wallaby shell and is not packaged in the wallaby shell package. To use, you need to grab the command/rb file from the wallaby repo.

    New Contents:
Previously, the user was unable to manually push new configurations if these configurations were not pushed automatically by wallaby. The wallaby shell now has a "force-pull" command, available when the user gets the command/rb file from the location lib/mrg/grid/config/shell in the wallaby repository. The "force-pull" command forces specified nodes or groups to pull their configurations.
