Hmm, I can't reproduce it. What video hardware? Does "gs -sDEVICE=x11alpha output.ps" show it?

> output.ps" show it?

0. Still can reproduce it.
1. Having the problem only if using gv!
2. No problem if using gs, independent from -sDEVICE=x11alpha using or not using
3. No problem if using evince
4. Hardware: 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82945G/GZ
Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 02)

Comment 4 François Cami 2010-12-08 19:02:08 UTC
Not reproductible on Radeon (AMD890GX), so probably Intel only.
Adding xgl-maint in CC ; I think this should be reaffected to the xorg-x11-drv-intel component. Orion?

Comment 5 Orion Poplawski 2010-12-08 19:11:38 UTC
I think I would like to see another reproducer before re-assigning. I can't reproduce on a Intel Corporation 82865G. Not the same chipset though. This is an odd bug.

Additional info: the usage of the gv option lets me control the effect:

1. I get rid from the effect by --scale=1.9 or scale=.9 or --scale=.99 or --scale=.999

2. The effect is enforced if I use --scale=1.0001 or --scale=1.0002 or --scale=1.0005 or --scale=1.0009 or --scale=.9999

Comment 7 Orion Poplawski 2010-12-09 16:08:55 UTC
What resolution is your display? The --scale commands don't help me reproduce.

> What resolution is your display? The --scale commands don't help me reproduce.

1. By "--scale=" I meant the "--scale=" option of the gv command and not a
   command called "--scale"

2. Screen resolution: 1280x1024 (LCD monitor)

Comment 9 Joachim Backes 2012-05-23 09:16:17 UTC
No such effect in F17
