Description of problem:
 Did a CD Install of the Beta TC1, and after rebooting, first boot failed to run

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
 F14-Beta-TC1

How reproducible:
  reliable


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install F14 Beta TC1 from CDs
2. reboot
3.
  
Actual results:
  GDM greeter screen with no valid users

Expected results:
  Firstboot should run

Additional info:
  only unusual circumstance was to copy "/etc/smolt/hw-uuid" from a backup of the older system
