Description Stephen John Smoogen 2010-09-12 19:20:39 UTC
Spec URL: http://smooge.fedorapeople.org/mediawiki/mediawiki115.spec
SRPM URL:
http://smooge.fedorapeople.org/mediawiki/rhel-5-i386/mediawiki115-1.15.5-5.el5.src.rpm

Description:
MediaWiki is the software used for Wikipedia and the other wikimedia
Foundation websites. Compared to other wikis, it has an excellent
range of features and support for high-traffic websites using multiple
servers
This bundles the 1.15.x version of mediawiki for replacement for
RHEL-4/5/6 usage. This version does not contain patches that current
Fedora mediawiki contains due to their conflict with upstreams patch
sets.

=== COMMENTS ===

* tetex-latex should probably be tex(latex)
* tetex-dvips should probably be tex(dvips)
* 1.15.5 is now out

This was based SOLELY on the spec file to get some motion.

Final comments...

Non-critical but worth doing before the first push:
* tetex-latex should probably be tex(latex)
* tetex-dvips should probably be tex(dvips)

Should get fixed first:

* mediawiki115.x86_64: W: executable-stack /usr/bin/texvc115
You can probably use "execstack -c" to clear this, not sure how to double check that texvc115 doesn't get broken though (don't generally use mediawiki)

Comment 4 Mark Chappell 2010-10-13 18:47:51 UTC
Scratch built -6 through koji:

[mchappel@mchappel rpmbuild]$ rpmlint mediawiki115-1.15.5-6.el5.*
mediawiki115.src: W: spelling-error %description -l en_US Wikimedia -> Wikipedia, Wiki media, Wiki-media
mediawiki115.x86_64: W: spelling-error %description -l en_US Wikimedia -> Wikipedia, Wiki media, Wiki-media
2 packages and 0 specfiles checked; 0 errors, 2 warnings.

Requires now uses tex() virtual provides.

All issues fixed.

APPROVED.

I'm afraid I don't understand your request; every package automatically
receives a devel branch. It does not need to be requested.

Built and shipped. Closing.
