Confirmed on Fedora 12 (Thunar-1.0.2-2.fc12.i686), selinux off, and Fedora 14 TC1 (Thunar-1.0.2-2.fc14.i686), selinux on. Terminal output from running "Thunar": Gdk-ERROR **: The program 'Thunar' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadAtom (invalid Atom parameter)'. (Details: serial 2464 error_code 5 request_code 24 minor_code 0) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) aborting... Aborted (core dumped) After discussing in #fedora-bugzappers, nirik pointed out that this is similar to upstream http://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6218 . Appears to have been fixed in upstream master, http://git.xfce.org/xfce/thunar/commit/?id=58568697a90844d98c7602902df8084297f19c1b
Yep. Looks like. I can look at backporting that if it's easy... or we can see if upstream plans another 1.0.x release soon.
Can you try this f14 scratch build with a patch: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=2538541 If you confirm that this fixes it, I can push out an update.
