Description of problem: The output of 'ethtool -i ethx' shows the wrong firmware version for NCSI enabled devices. Commit ecc796486f0a7f4958f8dc7550267570dcacb608 fixes the problem. There is also a minor fixup that needs to be applied in the same area. NCSI does not support firmware events. The pending upstream patch, entitled "tg3: Don't send APE events for NCSI firmware" fixes the problem.
