I can confirm that I've also been bitten by this bug. It has problems drawing buttons/checkboxes on about ANY form.
I couldn't reproduce this at any time, but the style has been removed from the current packages because some people had problems with it.
Another datapoint... I was using RedHat 7.2 (+XFree86 4.1.0-15) when I experienced this problem. Maybe XFree 4.2 helps here...
That's likely to be the problem, X 4.1.0 is totally broken for alpha blending.
Are you still dead-set on removing Keramik then? Or would a Requires: XFree86 >= 4.2.0 suffice? -- Rex
Well, for the record, I just upgraded to XFree-4.2.0-6.666 and the problem did NOT go away.
Probably an X driver problem then - no problems whatsoever here with a Matrox G400 and an ATI Radeon RV100, but bug reports on bugs.kde.org keep coming in from anyone with X <= 4.1.0
FYI, I'm was using a Matrox G200 (+XFree-4.2.0-6.666). Wierd.
