Unfortunately the fix requires to change ibus itself. I've put a new RPMs to test (note that the release number is not incremented, while the surrounding-text patch included is updated): http://ueno.fedorapeople.org/ibus-surrounding-text/ Testing would be appreciated.

It seems I looked the old patch. The latest patch already resolved almost my concerns. Applied the latest patch: http://github.com/fujiwarat/ibus/commit/d4b10b2e9aec0e1fb0674bab70c439ccc91ea07b perl-libwww-perl-5.837 was fixed in rawhide.
