Description of problem:
kick starting will fail if "keep_system_id" pre-script is enabled.

How reproducible:
kickstart system through proxy server.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.kickstart off usb key
2.hangs on pre-install 
3.
  
Actual results:
system does not build

Expected results:
system kickstarts correctly.

Additional info:

manually removing keep_system_id from "/var/lib/cobbler/snippets/spacewalk/keep_system_id" and updating kickstart profile resolves issue

We did not have time for this one during Spacewalk 1.4 time frame. Mass moving to Spacewalk 1.5.

Could be related, but it's hard to say for sure based just on the info
provided in here -- I'd need to see the problem in action.

There was a bug in keep_system_id, fixed in Spacewalk master by commit bb3183abcf9d69bba1092d8104c456b2e3e996f7, mentioned in bug 664724.

Closing as CURRENTRELEASE, please reopen if the fix is not sufficient for your case.

There was another patch proposed to the snippet in bug 635802. If the fix is not sufficient and can be reproduced, that patch might be worth further investigation.
