[NetApp 6.1 bug] SCSI ALUA handler fails to handle ALUA transitioning properly

This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux maintenance release. Product Management has requested further review of this request by Red Hat Engineering, for potential inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Update release for currently deployed products. This request is not yet committed for inclusion in an Update release.

Technical note added. If any revisions are required, please edit the "Technical Notes" field accordingly. All revisions will be proofread by the Engineering Content Services team. New Contents: Handling ALUA (Asymmetric Logical Unit Access) transitioning states did not work properly due to a faulty SCSI (Small Computer System Interface) ALUA handler. With this update, optimized state transitioning prevents the aforementioned behavior.
