Description of problem:
after last upgrade mc doesn't support smbfs,
previous version 4.7.3 does

mc --version
GNU Midnight Commander 4.7.4
Virtual File Systems: cpiofs, tarfs, sfs, extfs, ftpfs, fish

Confirmed. The 4.7.4 mc series doesn't use the --with-samba configure option but uses --enable-vfs-smb and ignores the former option. It is now fixed in rawhide and will be present in the next mc F13/F14 update.
