Description of problem:
when vt switching from X to a terminal I just get a blank screen. When I switch back X displays properly except for slight snow interference that appears to be permanent


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Test Day:2010-09-28 Nouveau x86_64 live cd


How reproducible:
100% on my machine except for snow which occasionally doesn't appear
