Wound you attach the generated core file under /var/cache/abrt if it exists?
Package: xscreensaver-gl-extras-1:5.12-1.fc13 Architecture: i686 OS Release: Fedora release 13 (Goddard) How to reproduce ----- Came in the moringing and had the crash notice on the screen.
Package: xscreensaver-gl-extras-1:5.12-1.fc13 Architecture: i686 OS Release: Fedora release 13 (Goddard) Comment ----- I don't know how this happened since I came in and the error had occured while I was away from the computer. I did see that SELinux also had a block for the same screen saver so my guess is that is what is causing this issue.
So would you attach core file under /var/cache/abrt if it exists? Or would you generate core file by yourself?
I don't have a core file in that directory, how can I generate one?
On terminal, please try: $ ulimit -c unlimited $ /usr/libexec/xscreensaver/gltext -root If gltext crashes, it should generate core file.
it crashed but everything in that fold dates back to August still.
(In reply to comment #8) > it crashed but everything in that fold dates back to August still. What do you mean here?
When I go to the /var/cache/abrt directory everything is from August, there are no recent files at all.
Ah, when gltext crashes with the procedure in the comment 7, core file will be generated on the directory where you launched gltext.
The core file is 3gb, so I can't upload it.
Then would you limit the core file size (by $ ulimit -c 1024, for example) and try again?
After I put the limit on, I don't get a core dump file.
Ah, um....

(In reply to comment #12) > The core file is 3gb, so I can't upload it. It seems that this means memleak is happening on gltext, and actually there was. Proposal fix submitted.
