Description of problem:
/usr/share/man/man3/db.3.gz contains ".so man3/dbopen.3", but there is no man page for dbopen(3) in man-pages.

man-pages-2.39-15.el5

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. man db
  
Actual results:
fopen: No such file or directory
Cannot open man page /usr/share/man/man3/dbopen.3.gz
No manual entry for db

Expected results:
A manual page; failing that, "No manual entry for db"

Can't be fixed using man-pages-overrides (the patch here is to remove db man page).
