Description of problem: cfdisk will only accept one character for the partition type. The second character is not displayed at the prompt nor is it accepted. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): util-linux-ng-2.18-4.2.fc14.x86_64 How reproducible: Always. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a new partition. 2. Select Type. 3. Enter "8f". Actual results: The "8" is accepted, but the "f" is ignored. The partition type becomes "8", not "8f". It appears that only one character can be entered. Expected results: Two-character partition type is accepted. Additional info: Tested in a VM. Occurs with util-linux-ng-2.18-4.fc14.x86_64 too. Does not occur in F13: 2.17.2-8.
Fixed in upstream, commit: http://git.kernel.org/?p=utils/util-linux-ng/util-linux-ng.git;a=commitdiff;h=54a0fe298b4d6d948cffbd6fbbbe7dbabc9a6bb1 I'll backport it to Fedora ASAP.
