Description Sunil Kondkar 2010-10-11 09:02:32 EDT
Description of problem:

Backspace key on Details/View/Edit Mode does not take user back to the master/list/table mode. It should take the user back to the master/list/table mode.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
rhq build#396

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:

1) Login to JON using appropriate credential

2) Navigate to a table (Ex: Manage Users or RHQ Agent->Configuration->History table)

3) Double click on any of the row items.

4) Click on the 'backspace' key.

Actual results:

Backspace key on Details/View/Edit Mode does not take user back to the master/list/table mode

Expected results:

Using 'backspace' key should do the same thing as the "back to list" button. It should take the user back to the master/list/table mode.

The behavior of the Backspace key is browser dependent. On some browsers, it is equivalent to clicking the browser's Back button. It is not out of our control. The supported way to go back to the list view from a details view is to click the Back to List button at the top left of the content pane.
