Description William Cohen 2010-10-15 17:52:34 UTC
Description of problem:

Need to have the kernel indentify intel westmere processor in the oprofile kernel driver.

Comment 1 John Villalovos 2010-12-13 17:15:46 UTC
It is likely that the kernel portion of this will be unneeded as upstream is only making changes to the userspace in order to support Westmere.

Comment 2 John Villalovos 2010-12-16 20:40:53 UTC
Changes to the kernel will NOT be need to support Westmere. Userspace only changes are required.
