The ecalendar factory also crashes when I use evolution directly. Mail, addressbook work fine. I think, this has been solved already in f13. 
At least I had similar troubles there and they were gone after a while.

This is with a fresh f14 install and evolution configured through the assitent. I did not import the old settings.

How to reproduce

1. Login
2. I guess it is triggered by the clock applet that looks up appointments in the calendar

Thanks for a bug report. This one is filled upstream [1], which I'm trying to fix, but I got stuck with my test server being off at the moment. Please see [1] for any further updates.
