Description Nathan G. Grennan 2002-05-15 20:29:38 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 Galeon/1.2.1 (X11; Linux i686; U;) Gecko/20020510

Description of problem:
The galeon.spec used is very similar to the one used by the Galeon project. It
sets user/group ownership to bin.bin. It also sets docs in
/usr/share/doc/galeon-1.2.0 to 555. I suggest the spec file be modified to set
better ownership and permissions.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install galeon-1.2.0-7.src.rpm
2. cd /usr/src/redhat/SPECS
3. less galeon.spec

Actual Results: You see ownership of bin.bin being set and the execute bit
being set on docs that don't need it.

Expected Results: Ownership being set to root.root and docs to be 644 instead
of 555.

Additional info:

Would be nice if the package was upgraded to Galeon 1.2.1.
