How reproducible:

Always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start system-config-lvm.
2. Select an ecnrypted volume from the logical view side pane
3. Press the "Remove Logical Volume" button
  
Actual results:

"lvchange command failed.  Command attempted: "/sbin/lvchange ...." - System Error Message: LV vg00/private in use: not deactivating.

This happens after the volume has been unmounted and removed from fstab.

Thanks for reporting that problem. But unfortunately, there is not a real chance that this will be fixed. System-config-lvm will be replaced by a gnome utility that manages all the disks (including partitioning and lvm). So we are only in maintaince mode.
