Description Christopher Beland 2010-11-09 01:28:09 UTC
After upgrading to F14 from F12 using preupgrade, I rebooted into the F14 kernel (the F12 one came up by default). During the resulting SELinux relabel, I got the following error:

filespec_add: conflicting specifications for
/usr/lib/debug/usr/libexec/getconf/POSIX_V7_LP64.debug and
/usr/lib/debug/usr/bin/getconf.debug, using
system_u:object_r:bin_t:s0.

I got the same error for POSIX_V6_LP64_OFF64.debug conflicting with POSIX_V7_LP64.debug. SELinux is in targeted enforcing mode.

Miroslav it looks like we need to add

/usr/lib/debug <<none>>

To stop restorecon/setfiles from going into that directory.

Fixed in selinux-policy-3.9.7-10.fc14

Comment 3 Jerry James 2011-01-20 18:12:33 UTC
I just had this happen on Rawhide, with selinux-policy-targeted-3.9.13-3.fc15.noarch.

filespec_add: conflicting specifications for /usr/lib/debug/usr/bin/getconf.debug and /usr/lib/debug/usr/libexec/getconf/POSIX_V6_LP64_OFF64.debug, using system_u:object_r:lib_t:s0.

Comment 4 Daniel Walsh 2011-01-20 20:34:10 UTC
Miroslav in files.fc

It should be

/usr/lib/debug(/.*)? <<none>>
