Tried 7.3 on other platforms working fine too. ISP2150g BIOS version is 14.3 (latest) Also latest are FRU, BMC, and HSC.
If you boot using a boot floppy created from the boot.img image does this work better?
Yes. Creating a boot floppy from boot.img in /images/ works as expected. Now, I will only have to cope with the apic bug. Thanks!!!
Ok, now I boot from my floppy, tell the boot loader linux apic, and then, after choosing language and keymap and answering that the source is the CD- ROM, it tells me: Your Red Hat Linux CD was not found in any of your CD-ROM drives. Please insert... Besides, if I tell it that the source is the hard drive, it tells me that there seems to be no hard drive in my system. What went wrong from version 7.2 to 7.3?
What types of hard drives and controllers are in your system?
ISP2150G has an Intel L440GX+ motherboard with 21150 AGP-to-PCI Bridge and PIIX4E, integrated AIC-7896, a TEAC CD-ROM as IDE primary master, and 2 Quantum Atlas 10K2 10GB SCA as drives 0 and 1.
Could you try booting with the command line 'linux apic'? This is usually required for 440GX boards.
