How to reproduce
-----
1. Use jhbuild to build gnome-3, let it run to the point where it configures, builds, installs hamster-applet.
    Possibly relevant:
1a. Proceed to the point where install fails when script tries to install 90-hamster-applet.xml.in into /usr/(somewhere).
1b. Drop into command shell ("4")
1c. Edit data/wscript_build to set corresponding install_path to /opt/gnome/share/gnome-control-center/keybindings
1d. Exit
1e. rerun install
2. Crash occurs as it tries to proceed after the previous failure
